Do you spend time walking, running or biking on the D&L Trail? Are you a business owner located along the D&L Trail? Do you have an interest in the D&L Trail and its future?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, then the D&L Trail Alliance was created for you. With three Regional Councils, there’s bound to be a meeting near you and we encourage you to join us.

What is the D&L Trail Alliance? A program that works to coordinate the building, improving, living with, and benefiting from a connected trail network in the Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor. Stretching from Wilkes Barre to Bristol, PA, the D&L Trail Alliance coordinates public-private partnerships through Regional Councils in all three regions of trail; Anthracite, Lehigh Valley, and Delaware Canal. These councils work to improve local business, recreation, and tourism as well as increase the health and wellness of the local communities by encouraging community trail use.

Currently, the D&L Trail Alliance is pleased to invite you to a meeting of the Anthracite Regional Council. As the D&L Trail Alliance works towards its goal of connecting the D&L by 2020 we invite the local businesses, non-profits, residents and other local trails users in Carbon and Luzerne Counties to discuss “All Trails Lead to Wilkes Barre.”

Please join the Anthracite Regional Council for presentation and an informal conversation about trails in Carbon and Luzerne Counties on April 7th at Genetti’s Hotel and Conference Center, 77 East Market Street in Wilkes Barre, PA from 7pm to 9pm.
