Ongoing D&L Volunteer Opportunities
Now that spring has finally arrived, consider helping the Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor get ready for the 2018 canal boat and National Canal Museum season in the following areas:
- Painting and staining our mule-drawn canal boat, Josiah White II.
- Helping to build a raised flower bed and other landscaping projects.
- Drywall repair and paint touch up in the National Canal Museum.
- Prep the Welcome Center for our opening on June 2.
The National Canal Museum will open for the season on Saturday, June 2.
For those of you interested in volunteering during the week, we will be working on weekdays, both indoors and outdoors, depending on the weather. Please let us know what day works for you.
If you are interested in volunteering with the canal boat and National Canal Museum, or if you have any questions, please contact Scott Everett, D&L Facilities Manager at 610.923.3548, ext. 232, or email [email protected].
