The Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor (DLNHC) is seeking a hard-working, self-starter that has a proven ability to develop a team of high-performing professionals, manage program budgets, and implement long-range plans.

The Director of Museum & Education is responsible for managing the daily operations of the 6,800 square foot National Canal Museum, the Josiah White II mule-drawn canal boat, and other related services under the general guidance of the Board of Directors’ Museum, Collections & Education Committee, and the Executive Director.

The Director is also responsible for overseeing the educational programs offered at the National Canal Museum and throughout the five-county Corridor that inform and excite all generations about the heritage of our region and its connection to economic development, health and wellness, and the environment. He/She/They supervises curatorial, education and museum operations staff and is expected to raise funds for museum and education programs, monitoring all programs for financial stability.
