Where: Black Diamond Trailhead, 576 Woodlawn Ave Mountain Top, PA 18707

When: Sunday Aug. 18, 2017 12:00PM – 4:00PM

What: Volunteer with the D&L Trail Tenders and ASTA as we maintain 6 miles of the Black Diamond section of the D&L Trail. Volunteers will help mow grass and remove brush and trash from the trail to maintain this section of trail for bikers and hikers.  Please wear appropriate clothes for working outside, long pants and long sleeve shirts are best, closed-toe shoes, and bring along a water bottle. If you have a favorite pair of work gloves or safety glasses you can bring them, but if not we will have some available.  We will have some power and hand tools available, but if you have a weed trimmer and are willing to bring it please let us know. This is a rain or shine event, so unless there is severe weather plan on joining us at the trailhead.
