DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Trails Day Along the D&amp\;L Trail \nDelaware &amp\
 ; Lehigh National Heritage Corridor (DLNHC) will be engaging in Celebrate 
 Trails Day activities on Saturday April 26\, 2025 throughout the corridor.
  Join us at one of the events!  Guests are invited to engage by participa
 ting in the Quest for the Golden Grabber via a cleanup\; joining a social 
 bike ride with a delicious destination\; and showing your trail towns some
  love by visiting a Trail Friendly Business. Celebrate Trails Days is an a
 nnual springtime celebration of America’s trails started by Rails-to-Tra
 ils Conservancy over a decade ago.  \nQuest for the Golden Grabber \nDL
 NHC is hosting the second annual Quest for the Golden Grabber trash collec
 tion contest along the D&amp\;L Trail from April 1 – 30\, 2025. Particip

 ail Tenders and East Penn Township \nOn Celebrate Trails Day join DLNHC a
 t the Boat Launch in Riverview Park in East Penn Township to clean up the 
 D&amp\;L Trail. Together\, we’ll remove litter and clear vegetation alon
 g the trail heading south towards Lehigh Gap Nature Center.  Rain Date on

 Winter Market Bike Ride\nDLNHC is hosting a free guided bike ride on Celeb
 rate Trails Day that will take participants from Hugh Moore Park to the Ea
 ston Winter Farmers Market and back along the D&amp\;L Trail and though do
 wntown Easton.  Learn to navigate trail and roads to reach nearby destina
 tions and avoid parking a vehicle in the city.   Helmets and registratio
 n are required\, and all participants will be required to sign a waiver up
 on arrival. Participants are encouraged to bring a bicycle basket and/or 
 backpack to transport their purchases. The Easton Winter Market is located
  outside of the Easton Public Market – one of the many D&amp\;L Trail Fr

 ril 26th. Volunteers will Help restore the environment one plant at a time
 ! There will be a workshop exploring the power of native species in revita
 lizing ecosystems. There will be morning lecture (11:00 AM–1:00 PM) at t
 he White Haven Area Community Library that will cover the environmental be
 nefits of native plants and their role in restoring biodiversity. Experts 
 will discuss how industrialization has impacted local ecosystems\, strateg
 ies for soil remediation\, and how to select species that thrive in Pennsy
 lvania gardens. After a lunch break\, there will be an afternoon Hands-On 
 Garden Planting session (2:00 PM–5:00 PM) at the Old Red Caboose that wi
 ll demonstrate proper planting techniques and maintenance strategies for n
 ative species. Participants will help establish a community pollinator gar
 den and receive a native plant plug to take home. Attendees are encouraged
  to bring gardening gloves and tools. The morning lecture will take place 
 rain or shine\, while the garden planting has a rain date of April 27 (2:0
