SUMMARY:Kids on the Canal - Those Who Came Before Us
DESCRIPTION:As Thanksgiving approaches the Canal Museum is going to take a
look at those who came before us. Come to the museum and learn about the L
enni Lenape Tribe who lived in the area before Europeans moved in. We will
also look at stories of immigrants who chose to settle here and begin the
ir life working and living on the canal. The canal is part of America’s
story of immigration and assimilation so let's see what we can learn.
