SUMMARY:Ride the Josiah White II canal boat - 1:00 pm
DESCRIPTION:The 48-ton Josiah White II canal boat plies the waters of old 
 Section 8 of the Lehigh Canal in Hugh Moore Park. Our trained and authent
 ically-dressed crew interprets the story of the anthracite canals and th
 e people who worked and lived on them. Our two mules – Hank and George
  – tow the boat on a leisurely trip from the National Canal Museum to t
 he Locktender’s House and back.\n\nCanal boat tours are 45 minutes long
 .  Tours run rain or shine\, except during thunderstorms or high winds. 
  To ensure the health\, safety\, and enjoyment of everyone\, the boat ride
 s have limited capacity and socially-distanced seating.  Masks are requi
 red while onboard.  Reservations are strongly recommended (click button 
 below).  Walk-ins may be accommodated if space allows.\nGeneral Admission

  due at our Welcome Center upon arrival.  Please arrive at least 15 minut
