Despite the cold weather, crews continued to work on the newest section of the D&L Trail in Lehigh County. The following photos show the trail base being put down and rolled. Fencing is also being installed. After this work is done, work will slow down for the rest of the winter. When better weather returns, a #10 limestone surface will be added and native grasses will be seeded along disturbed areas.
The Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor is more than trails and landmarks—it’s a living landscape where history, culture, and community come together.
