Tail on the Trail Winter Snowshoe Event

Tail on the Trail Snowshoes available at Blue Mountain Winter Fest on January 27th

Since not enough snow has fallen from the sky to use the snowshoes on the trail, we’re taking the snowshoes TO the snow!

The Tail on the Trail Coordinators will be at Blue Mountain Resort’s Winter Fest event on January 27th! Tail on the Trail will have our 24 pairs of snowshoes in assorted sizes available for folks to try out from 1:00pm – 4:30pm. We will help each person learn how to adjust the snowshoes around your boots and how to safely use them.

NO RESERVATION NEEDED! First come, first served but we ask participants to keep their snowshoe trial to 30 minutes maximum in order to allow lots of people to get a turn during the 3.5 hours.

It is Blue Mountain’s 40th Birthday Bash and they will be celebrating on Saturday, January 27th from 11am to 6pm and Sunday, January 28th from 10am to 2pm, weather permitting.  The FREE Winter Fest event gives guests the opportunity to try multiple winter sports they’ve never experienced! Featuring snow sports, ice sculptures, mascots, dog sled teams, live music, fireworks and Blue Mountain’s 40th Birthday Bash!!  There will even be a free birthday celebration treat at 5pm for up to 3,500 guests!

Tail on the Trail Coordinators will be there from 1:00-4:30pm on Saturday and D&L’s mascot, Della the Mule, will be attending the birthday party from 5:00-6:00pm. We hope to see you there!
