Delaware Canal State Park- Giving Pond Recreation Area, 1125 River Rd., Upper Black Eddy, PA 18972

When:

Saturday June 16, 2018 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

What:

Join Delaware Canal State Park in removing invasive plants within the Giving Pond Area.  We plan to focus on easily hand-pulled invasives such as garlic mustard, mile- a minute, and Japanese stilt grass.  Please dress appropriately to be outdoors removing brush (long pants, long sleeve shirt and closed-toed shoes).  Work gloves, loppers, hand saws & bug spray will be provided by the park as well as cold drinks and snacks for all volunteers! If you’d like to bring any of your own equipment work gloves, loppers, and hand saws would be beneficial. However, NO chainsaws are allowed.
