It’s an exciting time for Get Your on the Tail on the Trail as we are in the middle of the 165-mile challenge for both the D&L Chapter and new Northeast PA chapter. 1,231 users are currently logging miles in the challenge and have logged over 94,000 miles in the 40+ days of the challenge.
Though the Northeast PA chapter has been busy on the trail already, it will officially launch on June 22nd at the Wyoming Valley Riverfest at Nesbitt Park. To celebrate this occasion Senator Yudichak will lead a 2-mile walk along the Levee Trail at 11:00am and the first 500 participants to complete the walk receive a free Get Your Tail on the Trail drawstring back. Registration for the walk starts at 10:00 am and ends at 1:00 pm. You must finish the walk by 2:00 pm. to be eligible for the for a free drawstring bag.
This event is similar to the D&L chapter’s 165-mile challenge kickoff event which was held at Allentown Canal Park, pictured above. Consider your competition and check out previous challenge numbers here. Keep up with all future events for both chapters by visiting the Get Your Tail on the Trail Calendar.
