The D&L Blog

The work of the Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor (D&L) is made possible by our staff and board of directors. Recently, the D&L has filled two critical roles and welcomed two new board members. The D&L brought on Liz Rosencrans and Imogen Wirth-Granlund to the staff as Trail & Stewardship Manager and Program Coordinator, respectively. Moreover, the D&L welcomes Scott Blair and Richard Hughes to the board of directors. As a result of their expertise and passion, these new team members advance the mission-driven work of the organization.

New Staff 

Liz Rosencrans joins the D&L as Trail & Stewardship Manager. She takes on this role with demonstrated experience in planning. Fun fact: Rosencrans previously worked with the D&L in her former role at the engineering firm Gilmore and Associates, Inc. She earned a B.S. in Geoscience and B.A. in Environmental Geography at West Chester University. In this role, Rosencrans oversees the development of the D&L Trail. Her responsibilities range from grant writing and management to construction project oversight.  

Imogen Wirth-Granlund assumes the role of Program Coordinator with exemplified experience in community revitalization. Wirth-Granlund has worked with towns and cities across Pennsylvania through the state’s Downtown Center program. Additionally, she worked in neighborhood revitalization in eastern Delaware County. In her role, she leads the D&L’s programs Trail Towns, Get Your Tail on the Trail, and Trail Tenders. Plus, she will assist in the development of a new program to further engage trail supporters in advocacy. Wirth-Granlund holds a B.A. from Temple University in Geography & Urban Studies and American Culture & Media. Additionally, she earned her Master’s Degree in City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania with concentrations in Environmental Planning and Growth Management.  

New Board Members 

Scott Blair formalizes his involvement with the D&L as a part of the board of directors. He offers his expertise to the Education, Museum and Collections Committee. An experienced higher education professional with a concentration in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Blair supports the D&L’s mission to preserve and interpret the Corridor’s nationally significant history through its education programs, while upholding the organization’s core value of inclusion. Most recently, Blair serves as the Associate Vice President for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at DeSales University. He holds both a Bachelor of Science in Education and  Master’s of Education in Higher Education Administration from Kutztown University.  

Richard Hughes shares his expertise with the D&L’s Trail & Conservation Committee as well as the Advancement committee. He currently serves as the President Judge for the Luzerne County Court of Common Pleas. Hughes received his J.D. from Washington and Lee School of Law with an undergraduate degree from Lafayette College. With personal interest in hiking, running and biking, he offers great dedication to his committee involvements.
