So You Want To Be A Mule Tender?

Are you an elementary school teacher or know someone who is? In celebration of the International Day of Education, our Education Manager Whitney Davison is offering a free virtual program for schools.  “So You Want to Be a Mule Tender” is appropriate for grades 2-5 and explains what daily life was like for a child whose job was to walk with the mules along the towpath. The information is presented through a story that includes illustrations, historical photos, and videos.  Last year, over 530 students participated!
