Join the National Canal Museum in Hugh Moore Park on Thursday, May 1, 2025. We have partnered with our friends from the Moving Picture Cinema and Shankweiler’s Drive-In to show a movie here in our park. This free public event will take place around 8:20pm (sunset). Our museum will be open for your enjoyment before the movie from 6pm-8pm.
May 4, 2025 marks 55 years since the National Canal Museum first opened, and 2025 also marks the 200th anniversary of the Erie Canal. 1935’s The Farmer Takes a Wife is a fantastic way to commemorate both landmark events!
