In our second interactive town hall, part of our “Closing the Gaps” series, we gathered community leaders and trail users alike to discuss our critical Lehigh Valley Gap. This seven mile gap presents unique challenges, requiring a four phase approach made up of roughly ten trail projects. With the support of our D&L Community, we look forward to moving to construction on the portion of trail planned from Northampton to North Catasauqua as early as next spring!
This section has completed the engineering phase of trail development and, with your voice of support, could move to the construction phase as soon as Spring 2021. In our town hall, we provided a full update on the plans and ways that local residents, trail users, and community leaders can help get shovels in the ground to connect more miles of D&L Trail.
