Get Your Tail on the (Holiday) Trail!
To build holiday shopping into your D&L Trail treks throughout the holidays, challenge yourself to log 25 miles between November 19th and December 19th on Get Your Tail on the Trail to earn the Christkindlmarkt Badge and a chance to win a pair of blown glass ornaments!
Greater White Haven Chamber of Commerce presents:
7th Annual Festival of Trees
On Sunday, November 28 Greater White Haven Chamber of Commerce’s Festival of Trees will beautify the businesses and antique caboose along Main Street, where the D&L connects White Haven’s two D&L Trail Heads. The festival occurs in concert with the Borough of White Haven’s annual tree lighting, with complimentary hot chocolate from Woods Ice Cream at 6 p.m.
Downtown Wilkes-Barre Dining Deals & Holiday Pop-Ups!
Head up to the D&L’s Northern Terminus and check out Downtown Wilkes-Barre’s Dining Deals for gift card promotions to local restaurants. While you’re there, be on the lookout for Holiday Pop-Up Shops in the Public Square from November 28 to December 12!
Jim Thorpe Krampusnacht Festival
Don’t miss the Krampusnacht Festival benefiting Toys for Tots in Jim Thorpe on December 4! Prepare to be transported to a different era as you step into Black Forest Krampusnacht. Attendees can expect to see a “Running of the Krampus” ceremony, local vendor and food section, Beer Garden, Christmas Tree Tannenbaum, a live polka band, free kids’ craft area, and Krampus Fest 2021 themed merch!
Lehighton Winter Farmers Market
The Lehighton Winter Farmers Market features homegrown, homemade, and handmade goods on Small Business Saturday (November 27), as well as on December 11 and 18. Check out the numerous vendors offering produce, baked goods, dairy products, meat, eggs, poultry, gifts, dog treats, crafts and much more!
