Sip Through History at D&L WineFest 

Tickets Now on Sale for New America250 Celebration 

Tickets are now on sale for the D&L WineFest, a new fall celebration presented by Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor (DLNHC) that blends local wine, live entertainment, artisan vendors, and immersive historical experiences as part of the nationwide America250 commemoration.

Taking place on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Crossing Vineyards and Winery in Newtown, Pennsylvania, the event invites visitors to raise a glass to 250 years of American history while exploring the landscapes, stories, and traditions in Bucks County that helped shape the nation. 

Guests will enjoy wine tastings, curated food pairings, and an unforgettable afternoon of live music with Piano Man Meets Rocket Man, featuring acclaimed tribute acts River of Dreams and Here’s Elton performing the iconic hits of Billy Joel and Elton John, respectively. Attendees can also shop at local vendor booths, while historic re-enactors bring America’s past to life against the scenic backdrop of Crossing Vineyards and Winery. 

“As we celebrate America250, D&L WineFest offers a unique opportunity to experience the history, culture, and character that define Bucks County,” said DLNHC Executive Director Tony Pierucci. “From our historic canal-side river towns to the trail-friendly businesses and local entrepreneurs that contribute to a thriving regional economy, this event celebrates both the heritage that shaped our nation and the communities that continue to make this place such a special destination today.” 

Festival highlights include: 

• Wine tastings from Crossing Vineyards 

• Live music by Piano Man Meets Rocket Man, featuring tribute acts River of Dreams and Here’s Elton, performing the hits from Billy Joel and Elton John. 

• Historic re-enactors from the Friends of Washington Crossing Park and the Gather Place Museum 

• Trail Friendly Businesses and a variety of vendors 

The event is designed to appeal to wine enthusiasts, history lovers, heritage travelers, and anyone seeking a memorable fall outing with friends and family. 

Tickets are on sale now, and attendees are encouraged to purchase early to take advantage of limited-time early bird pricing. Special ticket bundles and VIP tickets are also available. Tickets can be purchased at delawareandlehigh.org/dl-winefest. 

Proceeds from D&L WineFest support Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor’s mission to preserve and celebrate the places, landscapes, and history of eastern Pennsylvania. Through the development of the canal towpath and D&L Trail, DLNHC invites communities to connect to what makes our region special.
