Delaware & Lehigh - Trail Friendly Business Spotlight: The Victorian Connection
Share

The D&L’s Trail Friendly Businesses come in many shapes and sizes, from restaurants to bike shops, and everything in-between. One key type of businesses, though, for facilitating a great trail experience is a home base from which to do all of your exploring. That is where The Victorian Connection comes in to shine. It is a restored Victorian house from the late 1800’s. It still holds all its interior grandeur – sporting hardwood flooring, an oak surrounded fireplace, and a baby grand piano. The Victorian Connection offers just shy of a half-dozen rooms to house up to 10 people at a time.

Terry, the owner and restorer, envisioned a place that would bring people back to a different era in time. A place where you can truly relax and recharge. Terry takes a lot of pride in his hospitality. He keeps the home in top-notch clean condition and stocked with snacks and water bottles for guests upon entry.

The Victorian Connection is located in White Haven, PA. Optimally located, guests can explore D&L trailheads, whitewater raft, hike, ski, dine out and much more.

Other than booking the whole house for a stay, The Victorian Connection can also be rented for workshops, business meetings, trainings, and all other types of private parties up to 30 people. One guest raved not only about the beauty of the place, but also its accessibility for a short period of time.

“It’s so rare to find a place like this available for short-term rental spans, what a treasure,” they said.

What a treasure The Victorian Connection is, indeed, and what a charming place to explore and rejuvenate. Check it out for the late fall and early winter as well as come next season!
