This year marks a special milestone for the D&L.
Thirty years ago, a group of thoughtful and committed citizens took the region’s case for national historic significance to Congress. The result is the Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor.
On June 2, we will gather the Heroes, Geniuses and Leaders of the Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor for an epic 30th Anniversary celebration at Hugh Moore Park in Easton. This is one homecoming you won’t want to miss.
Admission to the daytime portion of the event is free. The evening portion of Founder’s Day is a ticketed event.
June 2 will also mark the season opening of the National Canal Museum, as well as 2018 National Trails Day.
The Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor is more than trails and landmarks—it’s a living landscape where history, culture, and community come together.
These treasures can’t protect themselves. As we approach America’s 250th anniversary, your year-end gift will help us safeguard this remarkable region and create new opportunities for connection and discovery.
