Kids on the Canal – Let’s Get Buzzing about Nature

June is Pollinator Month! Come celebrate the birds, bees, and other creatures that help pollinate our plants.  Check out the native plants in Hugh Moore Park’s pollinator gardens, learn how bees transfer pollen from one flower to another, and create your own unique butterfly to take home.  The Delaware River Shad Fisherman’s Association will also have their building open for tours of their shad spawning operation.

Activities will be outside, and guests will be asked to follow appropriate social distancing and mask protocols.

Kids on the Canal activities are included with museum admission. Events are held monthly on the third Saturday of the month.
