Kids on the Canal: STEAM into History

Come join us as we begin another season of learning on the canal. STEAM into history with hands-on activities all centered around building and operating a canal. As you circulate around the museum some of our volunteers will be on hand to engage your children with some thoughtful lessons about simple machines, complex machines and speed and buoyancy. Check out our temporary exhibit called Coal Country Portraits and try your hand at creating art from crayon rubbing and layering, much like our featured artist, Frank Wyso.
