Homeschool Day at the National Canal Museum

Join Us for Our Second Homeschool Day at the National Canal Museum!

The National Canal Museum is excited to announce our second annual Homeschool Day on Thursday, September 17th from 11 AM to 3 PM at Hugh Moore Park!

Join us for a fun-filled day of hands-on learning and outdoor exploration designed especially for homeschool students. Activities include:

• Mule-drawn canal boat rides
• Conch shell blowing
• Nature scavenger hunts
• Old-fashioned toys & games
• Arts & crafts
• Friction & buoyancy science labs
• Meet our mules, Hank and George!

Plus, our museum will be open with educators on hand to guide students through exhibits and interactive experiences.  Pre-registration is required.
