Pick Up the Poconos

Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau (PMVB) “Pick Up the Poconos Day” with D&L Trail Tenders and Lehigh Canal Recreation Commission (LCRC) 

Weissport Lehigh Canal Park D&L Trailhead 

On Celebrate Trails Day, take part in this regional effort to beautify Carbon, Monroe, Pike, and Wayne counties. We’ll beautify the D&L Trail by removing litter. Check out nearby D&L Trail Friendly Businesses–Chantilly Goods for ice cream and Mario’s Pizza for a slice! Make it a weekend and stay overnight at Canal Side Guest House.

Afterwards, all Pick Up the Poconos Day volunteers are invited to attend the Earth Day Celebration  hosted by the Monroe County Waste Management Authority, Pocono Organics, and PMVB at Pocono Organics following the clean-up. Volunteers will receive information regarding the celebration after registration. #PickUpThePoconos
