The value of a volunteer

The Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor depends on volunteers to fulfill its mission of creating connections to industrial heritage, nature & environment, health & wellness, and economic development.

While the entire impact of a volunteer cannot be quantified, what can be speaks volumes of their gift to us. In 2019, volunteers logged over 5,000 hours of support to the D&L. With the volunteer hour valued at around $25, that’s over $100,000 gifted to the D&L because of folks like you who are so generous with their time.
