Calling all K- 8 grade teachers! Looking for a relaxing and fun way to earn 3 Act 48 hours while learning about our local history? Look no further. On May 18th from 4:30-7:30 Passport to History is offering its first Teacher’s Night Out event at the National Canal Museum located at Hugh Moore Park in Easton, PA. Enjoy finger foods and beverages while you take part in a tabling event and presentations from some of our local historical organizations. We will start with a 40 minute canal boat ride during which you will learn about the local history of our past canal industry. Transition to our mingling and tabling time and then take part in your preselected 1 hour presentation. As the night comes to a close you will leave the event having toured the National Canal Museum, taken part in our historical canal boat ride, mixed and mingled with fellow teachers and historical organizations, and taken part in a 1 hr historical training of your choice. Your swag bag and head will be filled with historical information and your belly with the food and beverage of the evening. All for only $10!
Please click on the link below to sign up, pay, and select your presentation for the evening. We can only accommodate 60 teachers so don’t wait! If you feel that the $10 charge is impeding your ability to attend this event please reach out to [email protected] to explain your situation. We will see what we can do to help.
