The research website, Juggle.com, has recognized the D&L’s website and blog as one of the top heritage area websites in the nation. According to the announcement, the D&L’s “industry-leading” site was chosen for its “excellence in creative web design, functionality, and usability” and for “providing visitors a meaningful user experience.” As you know, we put a lot of time into developing our website and keeping everything up-to-date. In the last year, we overhauled the look of our website and instituted a number of other changes–such as drop down menus and a clearer format–intended to improve access to the information you need the most. The blog now features fresher, expanded content, with several new entries each week. Our Facebook and Twitter accounts are always active and feature content not available elsewhere. All of this is intended to get the word out about the D&L and the work we are doing, and we are glad to see it is attracting notice.
We always welcome suggestions about how to improve our website and blog. If you have some suggestions or constructive criticism, leave a comment below or drop me a note at [email protected].
