The Carbon County D&L TrailFest will return for its second year to the Lehighton Outdoor Center on Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 9 AM to 2 PM! After a successful inaugural event celebrating the D&L Trail and the vibrant communities it brings together, TrailFest is back with even more opportunities to explore, taste, and experience the best of Carbon County’s outdoor culture.
This family‑friendly festival will once again highlight the unique blend of recreation, local businesses, and community spirit that makes the D&L Trail, and our Anthracite Region so special. Whether you’re a seasoned trail user or discovering the Corridor for the first time, TrailFest is the perfect way to kick off your summer adventures.

Bill Drumbore Memorial Fund
We invite you to join us in honoring the life and legacy of a true champion of the D&L Trail. Bill Drumbore’s passion for cycling and deep love for this trail left a lasting mark on our community—and now, we’re proud to carry that spirit forward in a meaningful way. Bill Drumbore was a passionate supporter and advocate of the Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor. He rode every mile of the trail countless times, often alongside friends who shared in his love for the journey.
His sudden passing in October 2025 was a shock to all who knew him and a profound loss to the cycling community. In his honor, we are proud to establish the Bill Drumbore Memorial Fund—a way to keep Bill’s spirit alive on the bike path he cherished most. Gifts to the fund will support the ongoing care, improvement, and accessibility of the D&L Trail, ensuring that others can continue to experience the same joy and connection that meant so much to Bill.
If you feel inspired to celebrate his legacy, please join us at the Carbon County D&L TrailFest on Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lehighton Outdoor Center. We will hold a brief announcement ceremony and share a story or two in remembrance of Bill. Together, we can honor his memory by supporting the trail he loved and the community he helped grow.
After the preliminary rounds are completed, the field will be split into groups based on each team’s record.
Each group will play a double elimination bracket to determine the top teams in each group.

Photography Walk and Photo Contest
Join DLNHC Communications Coordinator Dan DiBella for a free guided walk along the canal at Lehigh Canal Park. Participants will take a shuttle from the Lehighton Outdoor Center to the trailhead and enjoy a scenic out-and-back walk, with stops for photos along the way.

Carbon County D&L TrailFest offers something for everyone, featuring a lively Beer and Wine Garden showcasing local favorites Bright Path Brewing and Big Creek Vineyard, alongside live music and a variety of food trucks serving up festival favorites. Families can enjoy kids activities, hands‑on trail‑themed programs, and interactive experiences that celebrate the outdoors and the D&L Trail. Whether you’re relaxing with a drink, enjoying great food and music, or exploring activities with the whole family, TrailFest is a fun, welcoming way to spend the day.
D&L TrailFest Virtual 5k
New this year! Join us for the D&L TrailFest Virtual 5K is a fun and flexible way to support the D&L Trail and the work of Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor, no matter where you are. Participants can run, walk, or roll a 5K (3.1 miles) at their own pace anytime between June 14 and June 21, 2026, on the trail, in their neighborhood, or even on a treadmill, while earning a custom finisher medal and event t‑shirt. Proceeds directly support trail maintenance, educational programming, and community engagement across the Corridor, and participants are encouraged to celebrate in person at TrailFest on June 14th.
Demographics: Families, outdoor enthusiasts, local businesses, community leaders, and trail users.
Booth space: Vendor spaces are 10’x10’. If you require a larger area, you must reserve AND pay for multiple spaces. Canopies must be kept within the allotted space. Set-up begins at 7:00 AM and vendors must be set up by 8:30 AM. No vehicles permitted on festival grounds after 8:30 AM. Electricity and wi-fi are not available.
