Navigating THE LINK Trail Network with DLNHC–CAT

Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor (DLNHC) in partnership with CAT-Coalition for Appropriate Transportation are unveiling a brand-new resource for residents and visitors interested in biking the multiuse trail network of the Lehigh Valley, known as THE LINK.

The recent collaboration with CAT is intended to remove barriers to riding on THE LINK by addressing common questions and concerns related to maintaining, adjusting, packing, selecting, and riding a bike through a series of entertaining and educational videos.

  • Learn the ABCs of biking (air, brakes, and chain quick check)
  • Extend your mileage by learning how to comfortably carry your stuff
  • Review the basics of what to bring on a bike ride for optimal comfort
  • Have you heard the buzz around gravel bikes? Find out what type of bike you actually need to do the riding you want
  • Ever wonder how your gears actually work? Or what the perfect height is for your seat? Hint – your feet shouldn’t be flat on the ground when standing.
  • Are there “rules of the trail,” reminiscent of rules of the road? Absolutely. Find out to pass others in this quick video
  • Plan your next trip with a video showcasing trails of Eastern PA
  • And don’t forget to review Trail Etiquette – because we want to keep it classy out there!
