Weissport Trail Tender Canal Work Nov. 12

Weissport Canal  – Park at Weissport Trailhead, Bridge Street, Weissport, PA 18235

When:

Sunday Nov 12, 2017 1:00 – 4:00PM

What:

The local D&L Trail Tenders are working on improving and protecting the canal at the Weissport trailhead. Volunteers will work on filling stone in 5 gabion baskets to prevent bank erosion on the canal. After working hard there will be soup and sandwiches for all to enjoy at the Canal Side Guest House.
