On Monday, June 15, the Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor hosted its first interactive town hall with speakers Elissa Garofalo, Executive Director, Michael Drabenstott, Board Chair, and special guest Secretary Cindy Adams Dunn of Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR). “Closing the Gaps: Connecting the D&L Trail, our neighborhoods and communities” covered the variety of physical, historic and community gaps the D&L seeks to close as we complete the D&L Trail and continue the work of our mission. More than 70 people joined us live for discussions about our gaps and the progress we look to make — hundreds have since had the opportunity to join in on the discussion.
