Trail Section: Virginia Forrest Recreation Area – New Hope

Status: Complete, open and improved

This D&L Trail section passes the town of Center Bridge between Virginia Forrest Recreation Area and New Hope. Stop in New Hope to grab a bite to eat, enjoy a drink or explore the shops and history. This section is part of over 50 miles of the D&L Trail designated as National Recreation Trail within Delaware Canal State Park from Easton to Bristol near Philadelphia. Be sure to read the description of each trail section to learn the extent of the obstruction and how it may impact your trip. The information on this map is updated with information provided by landowners. An update will remain posted until the landowner confirms it is no longer relevant.

There are unhoused individuals along sections of the D&L Trail that travel through heavily populated areas.
