Things to Do

Address:
PO Box 58 2214 North Delaware Drive Mt. Bethel, PA 18343 Get Directions

The Slate Belt Museum offers exhibits on the history and industrial heritage of the area. This country gothic building was originally the Mount Bethel Presbyterian Church. It had its beginnings in 1730 when some thirty families of Scotch-Irish birth settled in an area north of the Forks of the Delaware River, now Upper and Lower Mount Bethel and Washington Townships.  The museum hosts concerts on Sundays through the summer. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs and picnic supper to enjoy this family entertainment.
