Pool Wildlife Sanctuary

Things to Do

Address:
3701 Orchid Place Emmaus, PA 18049 Get Directions

The 77.5-acre Pool Wildlife Sanctuary headquarters Wildlands Conservancy’s main office and the Air Products Environmental Education Center. Its place in our history is thanks to the vision of Air Products founder, Leonard Parker Pool, who bequeathed the sanctuary to the Wildlands Conservancy in 1975. Visitors can enjoy the boardwalk along the Little Lehigh Creek, hike trails through deciduous and coniferous forests, and spend time in the open meadows of the urban forest stewardship area. Safe parking is available in the main parking lot accessed from Orchid Place. The preserve is open to the public from dawn to dusk.
